Every child has their own learning pace. Sometimes they may be easily distracted in class, progress slowly in reading and writing, or find it hard to stay seated for long. Many children face challenges in learning, communication, or emotional expression as they grow. Examples include unclear speech, difficulties in social interaction, slow progress in reading and writing, or emotional instability. Parents often wish to help their children build confidence at an early stage. When a child’s language development lags peers or their social skills are weaker, parents often notice their child's difficulties in communication, such as struggling to understand complex instructions from teachers or expressing themselves clearly, which impacts social interactions with classmates and others.   Two months since school started, Do your children get used to it? It has only been two months since school started, and children and parents face new challenges and pressures! How can we develop resilience in ourselves and our children?   Our hospital's Psychological Assessment and Counselling Center has specially designed a series of support lectures and workshops for Primary School Parents. Ms. Ching Shuk Yuen, a senior counselor with more than 20 years of experience, was invited to share how to improve resilience and cultivate children's mental health. This is not only a lecture, but also an in-depth understanding of the needs of parents and children and sharing ideas for cultivating healthy growth.
