Walk with You with Words – Speech Therapy Program
2026.6.18
When a child’s language development is slower than other children of the same age, or when their social skills are weaker, parents often notice that the child has trouble communicating. For example, they may find it hard to understand the teacher’s complex instructions, or struggle to express themselves clearly, which affects how they interact with classmates and others. The Evangel Hospital Psychological Assessment and Counseling Centre understands parents’ concerns. To help, they have introduced two special programs: the Narrative Skills Group and the Social Skills Group. These programs aim to improve children’s storytelling ability, help them understand emotions, and build good social relationships, preparing them for school and daily life.
Two groups are designed for different needs:

- For children receiving speech therapy services at our centre for the first time, a free 15-minute individual consultation must be arranged before the first group session. This allows our registered speech therapist, Ms. Stephanie Siu to better understand the child’s needs.
