  Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a functional disorder where the intestinal structure appears normal, with no inflammation, and test results like blood work or imaging also appear normal. However, symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating or discomfort, and changes in bowel habits occur. While there is currently no complete cure for IBS, studies indicate that about 75% of patients experience significant improvement when following a Low FODMAP Diet.
